Safety Tips for Home Trampoline Streaming

The health benefits of trampolining are abundant. As a result of the trampoline's springs, the exercises you perform on it have a lower impact on your joints. You may find that you are more comfortable (or safer) doing certain moves on a trampoline rather than solid ground. Trampoline streaming regimens have been shown to reduce elevated blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, pain levels, and improve quality of life. Before you start rebounding at home to reap all of these wonderful benefits, it is important to do so safely! We list some helpful tips below so you can get started with your trampoline streaming fitness session.

Here are a few tips to have a safe at home trampoline streaming session:

  • Trampolines should be placed on a flat, non-slippery surface, far away from walls and furniture. Vibrations caused by bouncing can cause the trampoline to move laterally.

  • Trampoline injuries are most commonly caused by landing on an unprotected metal frame; shock-absorbing pads must cover the springs, hooks, and frame.

  • Trampoline beginners should wear shoes with adequate ankle support. Gymnasts often jump barefoot, but running shoes with side ankle support are better for novice trampoline users.

  • Avoid jumping at excessive heights; doing low, controlled jumps will not only increase your intensity but also ensure that your feet land on the trampoline in the right place.
